There’s No Place Like Home

We started the process of moving right before COVID hit the US. Chris moved back in March and the kids and I finished out the school year remote 🙃.

It’s hard to believe we had been there for 2 years. During that time, we formed some great friendships. The kind of friendships that you know will last forever. Moving there was definitely a plan that God intended for us to take.

In some ways it was really hard to leave. I loved our home, I loved our friends, I loved my job. I loved our routine. On the other side of that, there wasn’t much to do and moving there from the Wichita area it was a bit of culture shock. The winters were extremely cold and we had so much snow. There also wasn’t much to do that wasn’t 2-4 hours away. So we were excited to move back to Kansas. I guess we were kind of used to not doing much so when COVID closed everything down we were pretty content to just be at home.

Here we are a year later, one year into a new school and things are opening up, our life seems to be getting back  to normal.
