Loving Life

Today was a perfect day. Tonight was even better! I love being a mom to these two amazing kids! Nick is loving being an older brother...now that she is home! :-)

The first day Nick just watched her from across the room. He immediately said: "Olivia is not in your tummy anymore."
Chris picked Olivia up and sat down next to Nick. He looked at her and said: "Put it back, I don't like it"
But as you can see from the look on his face, he absolutely loves her!

House Project Update

The house is almost complete upstairs. Besides staining the kitchen cabinets and putting new flooring in, we just need to nail some of the baseboards back on and put the doors back up.

Where has this month gone?
I haven't posted much lately because there really isn't much going on. Just finishing up some house projects, getting ready for Olivia, and spending time with Nick.

Nick Update:
Chris and Nick let me have the house to myself last Sunday. When they got back, I swear Nick was taller than when he had left. He calls me "Mom" a lot these days, I try to correct him and say my name is Mommy! Just something about him calling me "mom" makes him seem way to grown up! :-)

He loves to play Frogger and Space Invaders. I loved Frogger when I was growing up. So I guess we don't need an ipad or an iphone (which I have to say I am very happy about, I do not like touch screen phones)

I have noticed that he uses the word "Alright" instead of "Okay"
Examples:
"I'm Alright"
"Mommy where are you? Oh in the kitchen, Alright"

I am sure the next few weeks will go by fast, you can plan on the next post being mid december (if I am not sleeping) ;-)
