Christmas 2012

Just a few pictures from Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I had so many so it was hard to choose and if I wrote all the funny stories that go along with each toy I am sure it would be a two page entry. In the next few days  I will post more pictures and videos of him playing with his toys at home. (his yoda slippers and his star sars bath toys might be in every video. He doesn't let them out of his sight)

Doesn't he look like a pro

My First Haircut

The last time I took Nicholas to get a haircut he screamed the entire time. I know that people understand but he can be really loud. When Chris and I found some clippers that included the guards, scissors and a comb for only $10, we decided to get them and try to give him a haircut ourselves. Niether of us have ever cut someones hair before (atleast not since we have been adults), so we were debating whether or not to wait til after the holidays to save us and Nicholas a little bit of emabarrassment. But those of you who know me, know that I can't wait for anything (especially if it is something that seems fun).

 

A bit scary seeing all of this hair, eh?

This is where it took place.

I used a # 4 guard  (the trick is to tell him that the clippers are just a robot like R2)

Results:

His hair is pretty wavy so the front was the hardest.
 

I think it turned out pretty well, don't you? The best part is the clippers have already paid for itself. The last haircut he had was $11.

A Letter From Santa...

Nick got mail today and was very excited. If I would have known it was from Santa I would have video taped his reaction. He was pretty excited to open his letter and listen to what Santa had to say to him.
