Zig Zags

Nick was playing with his new markers the other day. He used them to spell his name, out of the markers, then he said, "Mom, I am going to make zig zags out of them." and so thats what he did.

and then he colored a picture! 

Never Mind The Shoes or the Coat

It has been really really cold here lately. The other day while I was getting ready to take Nick to his bus Olivia came up to me and said: 

"i wanna go"

I said: "Olivia it is way too cold outside.

Then as Nick states he is ready to go, I said:

"It is way to cold outside, you need to wear a hat." 

The next thing I know, Olivia is ready to head out the door like this:

"Anna Hair"

On Christmas Eve, I put Olivia's hair in pig tails, she called them "Anna Pigtails" 

Apparently, Anna Pigtails were not enough, she had to have Anna hair when she wakes up too! 

and no, it isn't a fluke her hair is getting long: the next photo was taken a few days later.

Shorts. Yes, It Is Winter

 Olivia loves to dress herself. I guess I should say she loves to dress herself in these shorts. She loves them.

On this particular day, we actually had to go somewhere so I managed to talk her into letting me put some pants on under them.

 She really wanted to wear this yellow shirt with them too

Christmas Morning

 When we got back to our house Christmas morning, the kids walked down to a basement full of presents! We have an awesome video, whenever I get the time to upload it! Nick had so much fun, Olivia did too, she took her sweet little time opening up presents, like she did on her birthday, she pays attention to each detail of a gift before moving on to the next! It was fun to watch her take her time, and it was fun to watch Nick get excited over each one and explain what it is and what it is from!

 Also, Nick gave a gift to me and Chris. The day school got out for winter break (Nick usually gets off the bus, hands me his back pack and we take off racing to see who can get to the house the fastest, I of course, ALWAYS lose ;-)) this day we started running and he stopped and said, "Mom, wait! and then whispers, "there is something in my back pack that is breakable!

We went to see my dad and my grandma later that day, My Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy were there too and it was so great to see them! and then Andy and his family were at Juanita's that night. I didn't take too many pictures, sadly,Nick and I started not feeling well, which ended up being sinus infections!  But we had a great time!
