Feeling Better and Taking a Road Trip

Last night Chris and I were in bed and he was talking about how he showed a picture of me holding Nicholas to someone. When I asked what picture it was he said "Oh you know the one with you sitting in the chair with the T-shirt you are wearing in all of the pictures we have with you and him" (I haven't wanted to do laundry and since I haven't gone anywhere I have been wearing the same Kansas shirt since Nicholas was born!!! :-))
So I decided I would dress up today and go on our 1st road trip to my Grandma's house!!! I felt a lot better today and getting dressed up made it that much better!

Nicks 1st Adventure

We took Nicholas to Target for our 1st outing! It was really for me! I needed to get out of the house!







and we can't go to Target without looking at the Star Wars Toys! (CHRRRRIIIISSS)

1st Doctors Appointments

Tuesday October 19th we took Nicholas to his 1st doctors appointments.
1st trip to see Dr Jamie Stinemetz for a chiropractic adjustment!







Then off to Dr Landers office!


when we left the hospital Nicholas dropped down to 5 lbs 14 oz.
He is now back up to his birth weight of 6 lbs 5 oz!

Saturday October 9th my sister Alison was in town and came to visit me.
We went to get pedicures at about 6:00 and then had dinner and Hu Hot. We got back to my house about 7:30 pm when my water broke!
Chris and I dropped Payton and Hank off at his moms house and we went to the hospital! By the time we got there my contractions were 4 minutes apart and lasting 1 minute! OUCH!!!
13 hours of labor and he was not cooperating! His heart rate started dropping and so they wheeled me out for an emergency c-section! Scariest day of my life-but so worth it!!!
