I Think I'm In Trouble

Last fall Chris was playing this song by Lindsey Buckingham. Olivia fell in love with the song and started singing it all the time. She would want "daddy play trouble song" as she was falling asleep. Well, here we are several months later having to make a playlist for a continued repeat of her favorite song. She also, was so proud the other night when she said: "Mom, I know who sings this song....Lindsey Buckenham" Wondering if she will remember loving this song when she is older!

Happy Fathers Day

I can not express how great of a dad Chris is to Nick and Olivia. They ADORE him. He spends his evenings setting up and having Star Wars battles with Nick and plays Barbies with Olivia. Wrestle time and catching the kids as they jump into his arms before bed. He wakes up early on Saturday mornings to make a donut run and spends the morning playing with Nick and Olivia. He truly is the best man and I am so happy he is the father of my children. 

The week leading up to Fathers Day, Chris was out of town. The kids and I picked up his gifts, made him cards and their personal favorite: Wrapping the gifts. Olivia picked donut wrapping paper since that is something special they do together, and Nick chose Star Wars wrapping paper-need I explain why!?! 

Summer Plans: Shopping, Playing, and Swimming

Took Olivia to the store with me a few weeks ago, She wanted to take a picture with "the mommy without a head" 

 Nick still likes to pretend he is a Star Wars guy at the zoo, (from his 3rd birthday); at this particular moment, this trooper was on "his break"

 We have also been making lots of trips to our neighborhood pool! Olivia is now jumping in all by herself, Nick has ventured out quite a bit more this summer too, since Tatum taught him last year!
