I LOVE LOVE LOVE when Nick gets to talking and says things that he swears up and down is the right way. I want to so much capture these moments on video. However, if you aren't careful and aren't in the moment-you miss them!
So I will post them on our memory wall!
The other day Nick and Olivia were eating breakfast at our counter. Nick saw Chirs' work glasses (like magnifying goggles you wear around your head-they are for when he does detail painting work) he points to them and says: Mom, when I grow up I am taking those with me for when I go to work.
Olivia says: Me Too.
and Nick replies-No Liv, you don't work when you grow up-you play and go to the gym.
He said today: mom, I need some sunscream"
When I told him that it is called "sunscreen" he replies (very seriously): "Yeah, but some people call it sunscream."
For Easter he got the game Minecraft. One of the inventory items is TNT. You know, dynamite!
Last night he was talking about it and says:
mom, I used TANTY today in my game to blow up stuff.
Me: "Oh TNT?"
Nick: No TANTY
Me: Did it have the letters TNT?
Nick: It's called Tanty.
Did I mention he says Mom 3 x before he ever tells me anything?! I promise I am listening! My happy, excited to talk to me little boy! Hope this year goes by a little slower!
Olivia's new phrase when you tell her anything like "I think so" is IS IT??
Example:
Olivia: Is Preslie coming over today?
Me; I think she is coming over tomorrow.
Olivia: Is she?
OR
Olivia: Is Sara and Joe home?
Me: I think they just left.
Olivia: Did they?

Who's Ready For Some Fun Today?

Have you ever had one of those fun packed days and some things just don't go your way?
We really did have a great day Saturday at the birthday party and the circus. However, Olivia did have some moments that really just made her MAD! The first picture was because a Michael Jackson song came on. The second picture was because her cupcake had rainbow frosting. The third picture was beacuse she lost her playdoh at the circus-had no idea where.
On the way home, in the car, she said something pretty cute. We told Nick he could have McDonalds, she couldn't because at the time she was throwing a fit, and well, she was told she would eat a PB sandwich when we got home (mean right? Well keep in mind-she rarely eats her food) anyway, Nick said to her: "ha ha i am getting mcdonalds and you are not" and before I could say "NICK..." she politley replies: "Nick, can you please not talk about it, I already know."
MELT MY HEART!!!!! Love those little moments.
The Circus
We went to the circus on Saturday. It was pretty cool to see the bears, tigers, and some other shows they had! I have never been to the circus-Chris used to go when he was a kid! It was a fun experience for all of us!
Fun at Funtastics
Addy and Preslie had their birthday party at Funtastics this year! Addy turned 6 and Preslie turned 3 earlier in the month! The place is between Jumpy Jump Land which we love and Aviate which we LOVE, so it was pretty fun! I didn't get many pictures of Addy, she was on the move quite a bit for some reason ;-)

Nick's 1st Music Program
Nick had his first program last night. He isn't one for that kind of attention! Last week when I told him we all get to go to his school and watch his program he said: "well, I might be sick that day."
We were pretty excited to go though! He was so so cute up there! I am working on uploading a video so stay tuned!
April Fools Day
The day before April Fools Day, I told Nick that "tomorrow was April Fools Day, and we need to think of a trick to play on Dad." He then said "Mom, I have a trick." He showed me that he could do a twist jump and ended with a somersault. :-)
I explained to him that we need to play a different trick, like startle dad with something. Well, we ended up not doing anything, but then two days later Nick put this bug on the back on the car.
It was windy, rainy and storming when Chris drove to the west side the next morning. Later that morning, Chris had to get something from the back of the car for work. He saw this and jumped!!! He then sent me this picture and told me about it!
Once Nick heard about this, he put another bug on the car the next evening. It didn't startle him near as much since this one didn't look "real" but it did make it all the way to Salina!
