Baby Shower!

And the Story Begins:
My Aunt Sally and my cousin Angela bought boy stuff! For some reason my Aunt thought Katie was going to have a boy! (I think she wanted it to be a boy so she could write: "oh boy oh boy oh boy OH BOY" on the card-a phrase she used to say to us growing up) The clothes they bought were so cute-and they will fit Nicholas by October-so I am hoping Katie will just give them to Nick for his birthday!!!!! Just kidding-I hope she can take them back and get what she wants for her little girl Sadie!!!!!

New Paint Color

It took us a long time to get the living room painted-mainly because I changed my mind on the color everytime we were half way through with painting. But now it is just how I want it!
The pictures make the walls look a little more yellow than they really are. They are actually a light brown tan or a dark honey color.

If you look at the door in this picture you will notice I got the bronze door knobs done!

New Curtains for the sliding glass door.

Now all that is left are the bronze faucets, new kitchen sink, cabinet hardware and new carpet!

News from the Elliotts

I have a lot going on these next few weeks so there probably won't be much posting from me until August!
This is the latest from the Elliott Family:

*I started my new job about 3 weeks ago. It is going well. I honestly miss my old job, I LOVED it but the hours I didn't love so much! This job is great but I LOVE the hours the most! It is definitely different but I think it is a good change and it challenges my mind.

*Nicholas turned 9 months on the 10Th. He has started crawling.....backwards. He has started lunging after toys and he constantly talks (da da da da daaaady; te te te te te) Not Mommy yet though!! This morning when I went into his room to get him he was just "sitting" in his crib playing with his stuffed animal beagle! He is growing up so fast! He has an appt on Friday-I am curious to see what he weighs.

* Nicholas and I are going to my grandma's house for lunch this weekend! I am so excited for that. She makes pork chops with green beans and scalloped potatoes!!!! MMMMMMM.

*My Aunt Paula and I are throwing a baby shower for my sister on the 30Th of this month-my cousins are coming to town for this-that is always fun! oh and by the way she is having a girl!

*I am in a wedding for a friend next year and we have her engagement party the following weekend!

* The days in between I will be working hard at working out!
