I don't usually post about food but this is the best cereal I have ever tasted. I think Nick agrees.

Jedi in Training

I have a friend on facebook who has a little boy. She posted up a picture of him holding up a potty chart. He is younger than Nick and isn't officially potty trained but he is doing very well. I thought Nick would get a kick out of this potty chart I made for him. We have had a potty chair for awhile but he never wanted to sit on it. I decided to keep my expectations low. I put his "Jedi in Training" chart up and told him that if he sat on the potty at all he would get to put a smiley face on his chart and color a character. If he went potty in his diaper while on the chair he would get an m&m and we would put a smiley face on his chart. We did this for 2 weeks and by the looks of his chart you can see he has done quite well.  

Today we started a new chart with and no diaper on when he sat down.

Big Boy Bed!

Nick has been sleeping in his big boy bed for 4 weeks. I really didn't expect it to go so easy, but it has. He loves it. The first night he kept telling us that he wanted to sleep with mommy. That was okay with me. I haven't had a chance to snuggle my little boy to sleep in so long. (I know that they say not to but he is growing up so fast) The next night he said it again. I told him that I would lay down with him but that I wasn't going to stay. So I layed down with him and sang him a song and then when he was dozing off I started to get up and he said "bye mama"! He still takes 2 naps a day and he goes in looks through his books and goes to sleep without any struggle. Last night Nick wasn't quite asleep and he got up to pick out another book. That moment Chris was checking in on him and it scared him. He opened the door, saw nick and jumped which in return scared the living day lights out of Nick.

I do at some point expect him to not want to go to bed but atleast I have it easy right now! Chris and I are very proud of him!

Great Grandma

We went to my Grandma's last Friday for some Pork Chops and Potatoes. MMMmmm. Nick ofcourse brought his Star Wars guys and played with his Great Grandma!
