Visiting Auntie Alison

Chris had his annual fantasty football draft over the weekend. It is guy fest at the house usually so I decided Nicholas and I would go to Texas to see my sister Alison. Nick and I have been there a couple of times but this time the ride was much longer. Since he is not used to just sitting around all day, we had to make frequent stops on the way there. What should have taken us 6 hrs. took us......7 or 8 hrs. On the way back though I invested in a portable fan for his carseat. He stayed much cooler on the way home-though it still took us A LONG TIME to get back. Needless to say, I don't think we will be making that trip for a while. Atleast not without Chris or another person with us!


Once we were there we had a great time. Alison and I went through this old scrapbook I made for her about 6 years ago. HILARIOUS!

Alison has been dating this guy for quite a few months now and I got to meet him. He took us to Red Lobster for dinner-Impressive!!!!!


But the most exciting thing that happened was:

My Day With Hank

I took Hank to the park on 13th and Woodlawn a couple of weeks ago. We played frisby, went for a run, and then went to my mother in law's house to drink lots and lots of water!
I have a very happy puppy now! Of course I didn't take pictures because that would be wasting his "fun time" .

Vacation

Chris and his family went every year when he was growing up. Chris and I have been there twice. Last year we didn't go b/c I was pregnant and this year b/c Nicholas was too young.
I usually love summer but I have to admit that this heat is getting old! I would love to go back to rainbow lake and have cool nights and warm days! Next year!!!!

Food For Thought

It is no secret I have been exercising and dieting since memorial weekend! I am finally starting to see some results. Today I really really wanted to eat some potato chips! As I had my handful and was dipping the chips into some ranch dip......I started reading the bag of chips.

160 calories for 11 chips-YES ELEVEN of them. The dip.........60 calories and 50 of the 60 are FAT calories.
I have not counted calories during this diet but COME ON.... Who opens a bag of chips and eats only ELEVEN!!!! No wodner I was fat!!!!!
They were very good but for that little of an amount of food and for that many calories, I would have rather had a big mac!!!!!

Who is Missing?

HANK

I have sevral pictures of all the boys sleeping minus Hank! It makes me sad. I wonder if Hank is happy since Nicholas came home.

I have decided that I am going to set a special day to spend with Hank! I am going to take him to the park next week-whether its HOT or....HOT!!!!!
