It's Also Garage Sale Season...
I am having my very first garage sale. Something about having a garage sale makes me feel so grown up!
It all started when I had to cut a square out of our carpet because the dogs have marked on it so many times. Then I wanted new flooring, but since we couldn't afford it I decided I would deep clean the house and maybe rearrange our furniture. I started organizing the storage spaces in our house, my closet, nicks closet, foyer closet, storage rooms, etc, Then I realized "hey I haven't seen these things, nor have I wanted or thought about them in so long, why do I still have them and why are they taking up so much room?" Since I am done with craigslist as you may have read earlier this year, and since I saw some potential money here for the new floors I want, I decided to have a garage sale! My garage is FULL!

Tornado Season
It is officially tornado season! Last year I remember having some threatning weather, Nicholas was just 7 months old. I remember taking down 3 cans of his formula down "just in case".Now 11 months later we took down books, pillows, his turtle star night light...incase the lights went out,and the boys and I just snuggled into our basement closet under the stairs! Nicholas slept through it and then woke up when it was all over! It was a long night!
This was the tornado that was here in Wichita at 47th St S and Hydraulic around 10:30pm last night. This was taken by a trained spotter for KAKE.

New Dog on the Block
Meet Ellie!
She is Jeff's new golden retriever!
Last weekend, we went to meet her!
Nick loves her....and he loves acting like a dog now.
He even wants to be in a kennel!!!
It's a good thing we already have 2 wonderful dogs or I think Nick would want to take her home!!!
