If only I had the money to make the kind of combined room I would want for my kids! I still want Nick to have his Star Wars stickers that he loves so much on his walls, but I want Olivia to have a girly room too (i am not talking about pink and frilly, just not boy). Before we had Olivia, Chris and I talked about moving Nick or what would be Olivia's room downstairs. But it just wasn't practical. Also, I don't want to rob my kids of the memories and the bonding they will have from sharing a room. I LOVED sharing a room with my sister(s). Ali and I shared a room and Katie would often join us in our adventures! Chris and his brother Andy shared a room and I love hearing Chris' stories from that time. I also know that my kids love their room just the way it is and wouldn't change a thing; So I could leave it the way it is. However, I want to walk by or be in their room and have it look put together instead of thrown together. So here is a few options of what I would do if I felt like taking Chris away from the other projects we are doing ;-) :

| I would make an upholstered headboard for Nick. He would keep his star wars sheets and and I would get a gray comforter |
 |
| Isn't this so cute! and would totaly go well on the other side to balance out the star wars |

in love with everything in the room! maybe when Nick wants to go downstairs (just a few years away really)

This post will be interesting to look back on and see if I still like this in a few years!
