Summer Time in Nebraska

This summer was spent getting used to a new state, settling in to a new home and finding things to do in a small town! We did go to the Omaha Zoo a couple of times, first by ourselves and then with Andy, Stephanie, Tatum, and Ashlyn. 

 After the hot day at the zoo we went back to the hotel to swim! Don't you think hotel pools are the best? I am a little biased due to my childhood memories!

There is a really cute little park in Norfolk. We went there a lot! I don't have too many pictures because, ofcourse, my kids love for me to chase them around!! Many memories made on these summer days!!!

We went fishing quite a few times too! I love how my Nick and Olivia both get so proud of the other when they catch a fish. 

 We have a cute back yard with a cute little shed. Nick and Olivia thought it would be a perfect spot for their birdhouses!

Nick and Olivia both took swimming lessons this summer. I am proud to report that the two of them not only love swimming now, but are good at it too!

Nick's 2nd Grade Meet the Teacher Night

Nick is a 2nd grader!

This summer, we moved to Nebraska.  We have quite a few boys on the block that he has become friends with. One of those boys is not only in Nick's class-but they sit right next to each other! When he found this out he said "MOM, I'm not going to be nervous now because I will already know somebody in my class!" His teacher is very nice too and I think he is going to have a great year!

Our life would not be the same without this sweet and spicy little girl! She finds joy and brings joy in every day!  Not one day is the same with this one around and I wouldn't have it any other way! 

4th of July 2018

On the 4th of July we had our Annual Bike Parade with some friends of ours and then ended up back at the neighborhood to celebrate Independance Day with our favorite neighbors and great friends!
