Santa gave them each a toy. I am not sure exactly what happened-if she said she wanted something else (which I am hoping was not the case) or if he just saw her expression-but he ended up saying "oh this will not do-we need to get her a different one" (also, she is not crying-that is her "closing her eyes" for her surprise!)

Olivia's 4th Birthday Party!

Olivia loves donuts! What better way to celebrate her birthday than donuts in the morning with some of our favorite people! This will be her last birthday party in this house which is so bitter sweet! 

Olivia, you are our sweet and spicy little girl! You use big words to describe just about everything you talk about. Words like: "precious" and "Incredibly Super"  You love to pick fights with Nick and then tell on him when he reacts. Like I said-sweet and spicy! You make us laugh every day and definatley keep us on our toes! We wouldn't have it any other way! So glad we have you!

Love This Man

 I have to brag on my man a little tonight! He is the best husband, dad, and best friend anyone could ask for! He works hard all week and then drives 5 hours friday evening to come see us on the weekends-which is really only one day before he has to drive back! Our weeks go fast since we are so busy with school work and bedtime routines, However, his goes so slow since he is there all alone after work! We can't wait til our family is together under one roof again!

It really is nice getting a look into what Nick is like in class. For part of their Thanksgiving Celebration each student had a blank page with their name on it and each classmate wrote what they noticed or liked about the other! I am so proud of this boy. And yes, Ella, he is very ham sum.

There are two things I am thankful for.

First, I am thankful for God.

My friend God He is so so nice to me.

Secondly, I am thankful for my sweet dogs.

My dogs are so sweet to me all the time.

These things are important to me.

The Best Christmas Book EVER

I remember crawling up on a big golden chair with my sisters looking at this book. I look forward to this time of year when my kids can look through it and we can read it together! This year is especially exciting, as Nick is learning to read and Olivia is old enough to start really appreciating these pictures. Speaking of that, I may have to order another one somepoint as much a they love playing with these pages!
