Happy Birthday Nick

Nick turned 3 today! He had a lot of visitors. CC and Ethan came by, Papa and GG came by, and Gramma and Grampa took us out to eat tonight. Nick also recieved a lot of phone calls today, he wasn't in the talking mood as you all know! Thank you all for the birthday wishes and gifts! 

 

I know I don't know when to stop posting pictures of pretty much the same thing! I just love all of his expressions it is hard to choose just one! :-)

Couldn't get a lot of photos of Nick with my mom and Rex tonight  it was hard to take some pictures since it was so dark in there and our camera isn't the best :-) .   Happy Birthday to you Rex and thank you both for dinner tonight! Nick had a great time!

What a Month

Phew, so glad that September is over. It was a very long month of Chris being very busy and Nick being very....(oh, how shall I phrase this) A BOY, A KID :-)
and I will admit, I do not remember being this cranky the last time I was pregnant-which doesn't help.
I do think though, that this phase is coming to an end just as October is beginning, fingers crossed!

On the brighter side, Nick has a birthday coming up. We are going to Kansas City again this year for his birthday. So sorry Alison and my other followers who are waiting for updates, my next post probably won't be until the middle of the month. It will be a lot more fun though to look at I can promise you that! :-)

Movie Theater

I took Nick to his first movie at the theater today. It wasn't planned and he had a big morning already but when my friend Suzi asked if we wanted to go with her and her niece I thought, "heck, lets skip the nap today and do something we have never done before!"

He did very well for his age, but I think we will skip the drinks next time. He had to take 5 trips to the bathroom- mainly so he could go walk around the theater ;-)

We watch old videos of Nick quite often. The beginning of this one is one of his favorites. This morning when he asked to sit in the baby chair and asked me to ask him questions was one of the funniest things I think he has ever asked me. I also think it is funny that he is pretending to hold a "binky"

Sing Your Song

Nick has been into singing songs lately. "ALL BY HIMSELF" Our favorite one ofcourse is "Our Family Song" I have sang this to him since we brought him home from the hospital. We have recently added Olivia's name to it.
