The Night Before A Birthday

The Night Before a Birthday, When all through the house, not a creature was stirring....except me and this girl:

She took a long nap in the afternoon. Later that night when Nick was asleep we went to Dillons to get some decorations and ingrediants to make his favorite-blueberry muffins! She ended up getting tired about half way through but was so excited to get to help with his birthday surprise!

Unfortunately, the next morning she was too tired to watch his expression!
That was okay, Chris and I had a whole hour with Nick, letting him open up his presents and eating his favorite breakfast!
Later that night we went to dinner with his Nana and his Papa joined as well!

The Simple Things In Life

If you could tell me something that would just make your day, what would it be?
For Liv it is just as simple as rolling all of the windows down and opening up the sun-roof...or sitting at the very top of the bed!

When Nick's At School...

It was quite an adjustment for me to have Nick gone all day at school this year. I really missed not seeing him. However, I feel like we have so much time to do stuff. Olivia goes to gymnastics in the morning once a week, we have play dates and we come up with fun things to do or be like:

and what is more fun than going out for donuts with your BFF?!!!

Halstead Festival-Old Settlers Day

Every year, my best friend and her family go to Old Settlers Day in Halstead. This year we went them. The kids ofcourse had a blast! Parade and carnival!
