April Fools Day

The day before April Fools Day, I told Nick that "tomorrow was April Fools Day, and we need to think of a trick to play on Dad." He then said "Mom, I have a trick." He showed me that he could do a twist jump and ended with a somersault. :-) 

I explained to him that we need to play a different trick, like startle dad with something. Well, we ended up not doing anything, but then two days later Nick put this bug on the back on the car. 

It was windy, rainy and storming when Chris drove to the west side the next morning. Later that morning, Chris had to get something from the back of the car for work. He saw this and jumped!!! He then sent me this picture and told me about it! 

Once Nick heard about this, he put another bug on the car the next evening. It didn't startle him near as much since this one didn't look "real" but it did make it all the way to Salina! 

When you learn to style curly hair

We bought some new hair products for Olivia's hair over the weekend! She has some curls, this girl. I unfortunatley have never had to style curly hair, so this poor girl has gone a long time with brushed out curls. By the end of the day her hair was styled like a mad scientist! :-) Now, with this curling cream her hair is silky and curly all day!

Last Day of Spring Break

For the last day of Spring Break we took the kids to dinner of their choice "McDonald's" and then All Star Sports. 

 Then we went to All Star Sports on the west side-to change it up a bit below are all the pictures Nick insisted on taking:
