"Anna Hair"

On Christmas Eve, I put Olivia's hair in pig tails, she called them "Anna Pigtails"

Apparently, Anna Pigtails were not enough, she had to have Anna hair when she wakes up too!

and no, it isn't a fluke her hair is getting long: the next photo was taken a few days later.

Olivia loves to dress herself. I guess I should say she loves to dress herself in these shorts. She loves them.

On this particular day, we actually had to go somewhere so I managed to talk her into letting me put some pants on under them.

She really wanted to wear this yellow shirt with them too

When we got back to our house Christmas morning, the kids walked down to a basement full of presents! We have an awesome video, whenever I get the time to upload it! Nick had so much fun, Olivia did too, she took her sweet little time opening up presents, like she did on her birthday, she pays attention to each detail of a gift before moving on to the next! It was fun to watch her take her time, and it was fun to watch Nick get excited over each one and explain what it is and what it is from!

Also, Nick gave a gift to me and Chris. The day school got out for winter break (Nick usually gets off the bus, hands me his back pack and we take off racing to see who can get to the house the fastest, I of course, ALWAYS lose ;-)) this day we started running and he stopped and said, "Mom, wait! and then whispers, "there is something in my back pack that is breakable!

We went to see my dad and my grandma later that day, My Uncle Bill and Aunt Judy were there too and it was so great to see them! and then Andy and his family were at Juanita's that night. I didn't take too many pictures, sadly,Nick and I started not feeling well, which ended up being sinus infections! But we had a great time!

Episode 7 The Force Awakens

Chris wrote this on his facebook status on Thursday, before he went to see Star Wars Episode 7! Melted my heart!

"A few years ago I never imagined we would have another Star Wars movie, let alone a sequel. Well here we are. I remember seeing Star Wars in the 70s with my mom, brother and grandma at the Wichita Mall. I have fond memories of seeing Empire and Jedi with my friends at the Twin Lakes theatre. All of these thoughts are going through my head as I prepare to see Episode 7 tonight.

I was 5 when I saw Star Wars for the first time. As excited as I am to see it tonight, I am even more excited to take Nick to see it on Saturday. Nick is also 5. It starts again. I hope Nick enjoys Star Wars as much as I have over the years. I hope he remembers this Saturday 30 years from now and says, "man, that was awesome "."

Today was the day we took Nick to see the new Star Wars IN THE THEATRE! It was really good! He was glued to the movie, and kept looking at us throughout it....which he saw us staring right back at him! Ha, I am pretty sure I watched Nick and Chris watch the movie more than I watched the movie ;-)

But seriously, It was a great movie! I am sure we will be seeing it a few more times before it leaves the theatre!
