Meeting Max

We met Max over the weekend! 

It was so nice to spend some time with my brother and Madison. Love them and this little one so much!

Amy Scissorhands

Nick does NOT like getting a haircut. He gets very scared and worked up about it. I usually prepare him by talking about it for a week so he knows to be expecting it. I cut his hair myself and usually do a good job but on one occasion I have been in the process of getting the clippers ready while trying to calm him down and have forgotten to put the guard on...well, this is the 2nd occasion! The first time was 2 years ago right before a family reunion, but that was on the side of his head, atleast this is in the back ;)
Atleast he is at an age where he thinks it is kind of funny.

I thought I needed to make his hair much shorter to somewhat blend it in so when chris got home I had him help me. This is the final result:

so glad that hair grows!

A Bedtime Story

When Olivia was first born I would have Nick pick out two books for me to read to him before bed. One that he wanted and one he thought she might like. It appears she wants to start picking for herself now! ;)

The After Math

Happy Halloween

It's Halloween! We started off with decorating graham cracker haunted houses. My dad came by and brought the kids a TON of snacks and candy! Then we went to David and Cynthia's house for some trick or treating! Nick was Star Lord and Olivia was going to be a ballerina, but it was way to cold for her and she didn't like wearing her costume. I put her in it the night before and it is kind of like a spandex material with a tutu on it. She screamed and was holding the tutu as if it was slime! (Hee Hee! One of those moments you wish you had your camera)!
