Juanita's Gift

As stated in my last post, we had family pictures taken in November with Chris' siblings. They were a going to be a gift for Juanita-who is always wishing she had a picture of all of us together. We took a family photo and then a few of just the grandkids! Last saturday we celebrated Christmas with Chris' brother and his family and she opened up the gift!

As you can see-it touched her heart!
Andy and Stephanie also got Nicholas a gift! His very 1st Bears Tee!

I threw this picture in too because I thought it was cute!

We had a great time with you Andy, Steph, Tatum and Ashlyn! Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas!

New Pictures

We went to Kansas City early November and took family pictures with Chris' siblings and their kids. I have been waiting and waiting to post these but they were part of my mother in law's christmas gift! Enjoy!

How many days til Christmas?

We decorated for Christmas last week and I put all of my Nutcrackers up. Nicholas points to them every morning while he is eating breakfast.
This Santa Nutcracker has number blocks on him to count down the days til Christmas.
Nicholas likes playing with him in the morning!

Under the Christmas Tree

Apparantly it is fun to eat crackers under the christmas tree.

Nick's 2nd Thanksgiving

Nicholas had a great time this year at Thanksgiving! I say it all the time, but I just can't believe how much he has grown! Here are a few things Nicholas got to do at Thanksgiving:
He got to see the cows with Daddy

And Grandpa Rex
Daddy read him a book
What book did he read to you again Nicholas?
Auntie Alison played games with him too!

Caution-Read at your own risk

Everytime I am sick with the flu my mind goes CRAZY!
Friday afternoon I didn't feel so well. By Friday night I was so sick that I honestly thought I was going to die.
When I am sick my mind doesn't rest. I can't just "throw up" there is a process involved everytime. This time it was work.
At work one of my specific job duties is to go through the fax inbox. It is electronic so you open it up on the computer see who the patient is and attach the document to their file. Also in my head was the day's schedule (we had a lot of patients). So friday, in my head,I would open up the fax inbox see who the patient was and throw up. As I got to the last patient on friday's schedule I thought to myself "ok, this has got to be it" NOPE then people started calling and made appointments. By Saturday morning I had nothing left in me, which almost makes being sick worse-you are so hungry but have no appetite, not that you want to eat because you are kind of happy with the break. I finally forced myself to eat. Seemed to be okay. Still not feeling the best but atleast the patients have stopped calling! :-)
I am really not looking forward to the fax inbox next week!
